Llanilltud Fardref

LF

The Club is based in Llanilltud Faerdref Primary School and has sole use of a classroom during club operating hours ‘Llair Y Ddraig’ with daily use of ‘The Cove’, the hall and kitchen facilities. The club has access to an outdoor area which is secure, with free flowing access from the classroom ‘Llair Y Ddraig’ to the outdoor area. There are some occasions where the hall and outdoor area are being used for extra curricular activities. Children can attend these and then come to club once they are finished.

The Club offers a child centred environment meeting the social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional needs of children and recognising the individual needs of each child who attends.

A wide variety of activities are offered. Short, medium and long term planning will be in place, whilst still offering opportunities for free play. Children will be encouraged to participate in the planning and evaluation of activities and ideas for equipment when it is being purchased.

Snacks and drinks are available during the session. All food and drinks offered are in line with our healthy eating policy, and meet the dietary needs and preferences of children as indicated on the child’s registration form.

Cerys

Meet Cerys

I have worked in a variety of different settings from schools , nurseries and now in play work. I am now completing my level 4 &5 in childcare. In my spare time I love spending time with my friend and family socialising and making memories. I live at home with my parents and my two young brother . And my three dogs with are chocolate labs and all named after chocolate bars. My favourite memory is playing on the trampoline with a friend we were on there for hours laughing, gossiping as we just let the world past us by. Play means allowing imagination to run freely and think out of the box . Creating a world with everything is possible without any distractions. I love how crazy my job can be from sitting down with a child talking about their day to all of sudden building a den and creating a Road out of a bit of spare cardboard.
